American Pool and SPCA‘Tis the season to help others!

As our Edison, New Jersey location was wrapping up their seasonal swimming pool winterizations, they decided to do something a little different with their lost and found this year.

One of the local American Pool staff members recently adopted a pet from a local rescue. In a search for the family pet, he noticed the Monmouth County SPCA was looking for towels at the shelter to keep their animals clean and comfortable while they await adoption. Over the course of a summer season our pools tend to accumulate a lot of lost and found items… and as you can imagine, a TON of towels!

Instead of throwing the towels out when closing the pools, the American Pool Management team made a point to bring the towels back to the office. They were laundered and folded by the teams’ families and delivered to the SPCA just before Thanksgiving.

This season, there are plenty of ways to help sheltered animals. Contact your local animal shelter to find out how you can help!
